About The Position

Your mission Build a safe, high-performing maintenance operation that keeps assets reliable, costs controlled, and production running smoothly. What you'll do Champion safe work practices—train the team, enforce procedures, and model LOTO every day. Lead a skilled maintenance crew: set goals, develop capabilities, and measure performance. Run Preventive and Predictive Maintenance to minimize downtime across plant assets. Own the daily schedule—prioritize work orders and allocate resources effectively. Manage departmental spending and drive continuous improvement in cost and reliability. Execute plant projects including equipment design/development, major overhauls, and relocations. Coordinate with regulatory bodies and partners for inspections by state/federal agencies, local fire departments, and insurers. Split your time wisely between planning/administration and hands-on floor presence. Partner cross-functionally with Safety, Quality, Production, Shipping & Receiving, and Administrative groups.

Requirements

  • Evidence of structured, scientific problem-solving capability.
  • Applied experience with Lean tools, TPM practices, 5S, and effective Root Cause Analysis.
  • Comfort with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Forms.
  • Working knowledge of LOTO, basic PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Hands-on familiarity with shop equipment: welders, grinders, lathes, and cutting tools.
  • Understanding of capital project processes and ROI analysis.
  • CMMS utilization and inventory management experience.
