You step in—quick diagnostics, a targeted repair—and production is back on schedule. Minutes later you’re updating the next shift via voicemail and email, then pivoting to assist with the install of a new auxiliary unit. Throughout the evening, you prioritize emergency work orders, communicate status in person, and keep the line moving safely and efficiently.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Two years of Vo-Tech training
3–5 years of experience in a printing/manufacturing facility
At least two years in building maintenance, machinery repair, electrical wiring, machine shop repairs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Strong verbal and written communication; solid math skills; proven mechanical aptitude
PC skills: Word, Excel, and email

Responsibilities

Repair and preventive maintenance on presses and all auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime
Hands-on support for installing new machinery and systems
Assist in scheduling urgent repairs and setting priorities for same-day issues
Ensure clear shift-to-shift handoffs via voicemail, email, and direct conversation
Perform all work in alignment with corporate procedures and federal, state, local, and company safety regulations
