Requirements

  • Proven maintenance or electrical/mechanical experience (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience working with equipment up to 220V.
  • Familiarity with conduit work, lighting installations, breakers/panels, and general shop electrical systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools confidently.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve independently in a small maintenance team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with or around PLC/VFD-controlled equipment is a plus.
  • Basic carpentry skills (patching drywall, simple repairs) preferred.
  • Light plumbing experience (replacing seals, fixing simple leaks, addressing minor clogs).
  • Prior experience in industrial maintenance is strongly preferred.
  • OSHA 10/30 training is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical work including installing and running conduit, wiring new lighting fixtures, replacing switches/outlets, and supporting general electrical upgrades across the facility.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to breakers, power trips, dead outlets, and inconsistent power supply to tools or machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and perform light work involving PLC- and VFD-supported equipment; support equipment functionality and assist with basic diagnostics.
  • Work with electrical saws, shop equipment, and production machinery—identifying, isolating, and repairing operational issues as they occur.
  • Address general facility maintenance needs, including light carpentry (patching drywall, minor repair work), and basic plumbing tasks as needed.
  • Maintain an organized workspace, manage tools and supplies, and communicate repair needs, equipment issues, or material requirements promptly.
  • Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout practices, and proper procedures when working with electrical equipment.
