Maintenance Lead Performs general maintenance and repairs of HVAC, Liquid Fillers, Boilers, Air Compressors, Electrical, Plumbing, Warehouse, and other building systems and maintains all the maintenance records.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with additional schooling or equivalent maintenance experience
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • Should have 3-5 years of experience in maintenance of production equipment
  • The ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English Specialized
  • Knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations
  • Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment
  • Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training
  • Ability to drive truck- Class A license a plus
  • Safe operation of power tools

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for coordinating the facility maintenance program to ensure all maintenance is completed as scheduled.
  • Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
  • Works with plant management team to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies and assess skills and time needed to complete tasks.
  • Assist with capital project work as assigned.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System to accurately track work orders from inception to closure.
  • Completes necessary research for non-standard maintenance & repairs requiring the purchase of materials and/or employment by outside contractors or vendors.
  • Manages contractors on site and serves as site contact.
  • Complete all required maintenance paperwork.
  • Performs manual warehouse duties as assigned.
  • Completes various welding, piping, and fabrication projects, as assigned.
  • Completes general Tank Farm maintenance including pump and hose inspections
  • Provides guidance and assistance to less senior maintenance workers
  • Serve on company's in-plant or off-site emergency response team
  • Comply with all company policies, rules, and guidelines
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
