Internship candidates will assist with daily hazardous materials abatement oversight services on projects throughout the Pacific Northwest. Interns will work closely with project managers to support on-site project quality assessments, air quality monitoring, daily reporting, and schedule/progress tracking.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist project managers with on-site hazardous materials abatement oversight services to provide assurance that work is being performed in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform project quality assessments and monitor project progress
- Conduct air quality monitoring during abatement activities
- Daily communication and coordination with abatement contractor supervisors in the field
- Complete daily field observation and detail reports documenting site activities, conditions, and project communication
- Perform work area inspections and prepare related reports
- Conduct post-abatement visual inspections of work areas
- Assist with post-abatement air clearance monitoring
- Track project schedules and progress in coordination with project managers
- Assist with compiling documentation and assembling post-project closeout reports
