About The Position

Join the team at Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company!   Days/Hours of Work: 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday Job Summary Maintain and repair a wide range of battery powered electrical material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, rapid delivery carts, and floor care equipment to ensure continual and safe operation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of work experience.
• Knowledge electrical systems and components required.
• Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to obtain certification upon hire is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an electric powered MHE mechanic preferred.
• Prior experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system on equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, rapid delivery carts, and floor care equipment.
• Perform scheduled quarterly preventive maintenance inspections and regular repairs on equipment i.e. replacing load wheels and steer tires, replacing connectors on batteries, repairing components of the water stringer system, etc.
• Occasionally provides emergency/unscheduled repairs.
• May perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
