This position manages the analysis and designing of sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and the establishment of methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. The role will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of key deliverables pertaining to schedule management, cost control, cost reduction, capacity/resource planning, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, the manager monitors the development and implementation plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. This role is also responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
