About The Position

This position manages the analysis and designing of sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and the establishment of methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. The role will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of key deliverables pertaining to schedule management, cost control, cost reduction, capacity/resource planning, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, the manager monitors the development and implementation plans for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. This role is also responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college in a related discipline
  • Functional application of Industrial Engineering tools and techniques in an Assembly or Delivery Operations environment; which could include, production scheduling, manufacturing/labor estimating, or capacity/resource planning
  • Experience managing metrics and reporting tools to ensure elements of cost, schedule, quality, safety, and workforce are designed into the production decisions and forecasts

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership or technical lead experience
  • Experience with Assembly EVMS Processes
  • Project management experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification (Black Belt, Green Belt, PDCA, etc.)
  • Experience working with Manufacturing Systems; which could include SAP, SFM, CAPP, or ECM
  • Experience working with business objects (BO) and enterprise data warehouse (EDW)
  • Data Analytics Processes and tools experience: One or more of the following; Regression analysis, statistical process control, data mining, SQL, R, Cobra, Python, Tableau
