About The Position

You will be the Industrial Engineer Sr. for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, implementing lean practices, and ensuring optimal efficiency in our operations. As the Industrial Engineer Sr. you will be responsible for leading cross‑functional initiatives that drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction across our manufacturing footprint. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem‑solver with deep expertise in lean manufacturing and process improvement, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about delivering measurable gains. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
  • Extensive experience in developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Proven track record in work measurement and time standards.
  • Proficiency with various work measurement techniques such as predetermined motion time systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time study.
  • Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and analyzing manufacturing systems.
  • Proficiency in using simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simul8, FlexSim, SIMIO) to model, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Extensive experience in large scale facility space planning activities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to drive strategic decision-making through clear reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations.
  • Extensive experience in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
