Job Title: Industrial Engineer Intern Pay Grade: AcqSal Job Description: Key Responsibilities · Support 5 S’s activities on the shop floor, labeling racks, color-coding tools in assembly, mark floor for Material staging areas. · Support Productivity Improvement – Data Analysis · Support developing Standardized Work – being able to record daily tasks · Support 5S’s Global Assessment Deployment · Helping to ensure projects are completed on time. Competencies and Behaviors · Computer proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) · Simulation Software – Arena, FlexSim, etc. · Experience and/or knowledge on Time and Motions – Time Studies · Knowledge of basic lean tools – 5S’s, SMED, Value Stream Map, etc. · Generative AI: ChatGPT/LLMs for process documentation. · Experience and/or knowledge working in or around machine shop or machining is a plus Qualifications and Experience: · An in-process bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering. Requirements

• Computer proficient (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Simulation Software – Arena, FlexSim, etc.
• Experience and/or knowledge on Time and Motions – Time Studies
• Knowledge of basic lean tools – 5S’s, SMED, Value Stream Map, etc.
