Anduril is seeking an Industrial Engineering Intern to join our summer internship program. The Manufacturing Engineering organization is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware, including static equipment, moving ground equipment, sensors, undersea, and flight vehicles, and scaling these products in our new 5M sq ft manufacturing facility, Arsenal-1. As an IE intern, you will work alongside a team who will provide guidance and mentorship while you work to optimize Anduril’s manufacturing operations for best-in-class quality, reliability, speed, and asset utilization. The Industrial Engineering Intern will take a data-driven approach to designing production lines and associated manufacturing processes to meet these objectives. In this role, you will work on a summer-long project where you will be required to actively collaborate with and prepare presentations to various Anduril teams including but not limited to Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Analytics, and Quality. The right person for this role can demonstrate holistic ownership in solving operational challenges with creative solutions in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment. This person will be flexible to change and ambiguity in their working environment, while working to ensure products are built and shipped on-time under stringent quality standards. If you are someone who thrives in stepping up to optimize production systems, then this role is for you.
