About The Position

Acts as a primary representative of McNaughton-McKay Electric Company interfacing with customers, vendors, and employees to promote the growth of sales of technical products at profit margins that meet or exceed the company’s goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor ‘s degree required in Engineering; (work experience considered in lieu of education).
• Knowledge and experience of Industrial Controls, Sensors, and Safety.
• Ability to determine customer needs and to follow through on commitments.
• Ability to build good relationship with customers and venders of assigned technologies.
• Proven analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Intermediate PC skills with MS Office products required.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical sales support of Industrial Controls, Sensors, and Safety products.
• Provides new product launch support and training for McNaughton-McKay personnel.
• Acts as product liaison to vendor to communicate commercial or technical market/product requirements.
• Develops the Business Plan for products including identifying key accounts, market/account strategy, stocking requirements and support issues.
• Coordinate’s product stocking requirements and returns with the purchasing and warehouse departments.
• Provides post-sale support to the technical support group and our customers.
• Works with the literature department to ensure we have proper stock literature and quantity levels.
• Creates, implements and revises procedures and instructions.
• Supports the quality initiatives of the region.
