Step Into the Night Shift as Our Industrial Controls Electrician Picture this: It’s 6:50 pm on Wednesday. You badge into a modern packaging facility that fuels restaurants, grocers, and industries nationwide. By 7:00 pm, you’re on the floor—PLC screen glowing, a VFD humming, and a servo axis ready for fine‑tuning. You keep production moving safely and reliably through the night, from Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 pm–7:00 am. Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance Certification, or 3+ years as an industrial electrician with mechanical aptitude; manufacturing experience preferred
  • Fluency in electrical schematics, ladder logic, sequential logic, and mechanical drawings
  • Hands‑on skill with digital multimeters and disciplined troubleshooting methods
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards; strong Lockout/Tagout practice
  • Comfort with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Edge) and Adobe; AX experience a plus
  • Precision with measurements—read a tape measure and operate calipers confidently
  • Proven multitasker with strong time management, attention to detail, and clear communication
  • Track record of safety, teamwork, initiative, and reliable attendance in a fast‑paced setting
  • Owns a basic SAE and metric tool set

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus exposure: extrusion, vacuum and resin control systems, flexographic printing, and bag conversion equipment

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair industrial electrical systems (120/277/480 VAC, 3‑phase)
  • Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs—especially Allen Bradley platforms using RSLogix
  • Commission and maintain VFDs, DC drives, and servo motion systems
  • Support process controls including 4–20 mA loops, analog signals, and positioning feedback
  • Maintain and tune temperature control systems
  • Service integrated electro‑mechanical equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic subsystems
  • Apply LOTO and plant safety procedures while documenting work and communicating status
