Tarpon Specialty Services is hiring experienced Carpenters (Concrete Framework) for a large-scale oil & gas construction project in the Ingleside and Corpus Christi, Texas area. Requirements
- 2+ years of carpentry experience in industrial, commercial, or oil & gas construction
- Hands-on experience with concrete formwork and rebar tying
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and project drawings
- Reliable transportation to project site
- Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Building and setting wooden concrete forms for industrial foundations and structures
- Tying rebar and placing reinforcing steel per project specifications
- Pouring, finishing, and stripping concrete
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
- Working safely in an active industrial/construction environment
- Collaborating with ironworkers, concrete finishers, and general foremen
