THE ROLE: The 2nd shift Industrial Automation Technician will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance, and installation tasks on production equipment, and machinery. This position requires demonstration of competency for all activities that either directly or indirectly affect product safety and quality. The individual will work onsite at our state of art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in here Winston-Salem, NC. Starting hourly rate is $30.27-$36.27/Hour plus bonus potential and variety of benefits offered to eligible employees in the US. HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE: Adhere to all company and OSHA safety rules, policies, and regulations Maintain a clean and organized work area Actively perform scheduled maintenance on all plant and production equipment Quickly respond to and correct equipment issues Advanced knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, ladder logic (minor code changes), and related controls Troubleshoot, repair, and replace VFDs, servos, camera/vision systems, on-line production printers, motors, robots, and other machine control devices Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings Proactively look for eqpt trends, root causes & variances. Develop action plans for & implement improvements Troubleshoot pneumatic/hydraulic systems Develop projects and process improvement initiatives.
