About The Position

As the plant winds down and production continues, you’re the go-to expert ensuring every controller, drive, and HMI stays responsive. You move from preventive checks to urgent troubleshooting, collaborate with engineers on improvements, and capture clear documentation before the next shift arrives. Safety stays front and center in every task you touch.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Automation, or a closely related field.
  • Hands-on background as a Controls Technician or equivalent function.
  • Solid grasp of control systems, PLCs, and automated manufacturing processes.
  • Expert troubleshooting mindset and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Comfort working independently and collaborating in a team setting.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Flexibility to cover varying hours, including occasional overtime.

Nice To Haves

  • PLC troubleshooting, programming, and wiring
  • Mechanical and heavy equipment troubleshooting
  • Electrical installation and work with 120/208/240/480V systems
  • OSHA 10-hour certification

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and fine-tune control systems and related equipment.
  • Execute routine inspections and preventive maintenance on automation assets.
  • Partner with engineering to roll out upgrades and continuous improvements.
  • Record maintenance, repairs, and findings with precision.
  • Contribute to developing and delivering control system training materials.
  • Uphold safety and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Provide timely technical support to production teams.
