About The Position
ETTA Supporting Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities ETTA's Supported Living Services (SLS) Department is Seeking Independent Living Services / DSP Staff 1:1 for Male Client As an Independent Living Advocate, Caregiver or Direct Support Professional (DSP) You Will Assist Adults with Special Needs to Live More Independent & Enriching Lives About ETTA ETTA is a leading service provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing a full spectrum of services. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be a licensed driver for a minimum of three years
- Must have an insured vehicle with your name listed as an authorized driver
- Must be willing to drive with a client in your vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Must be willing to perform "personal hygiene" tasks (including toileting assistance, if occasionally needed)
- Live Scan (DOJ / FBI) background check required
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of ASL a plus (but not required).
- Willingness to learn on the job some basic sign language for client with hearing loss (helpful).
