About The Position

One Model is looking for an Inbound Enterprise Business Development Representative who wants to contribute to building on the momentum behind One Model’s growth in the global People Analytics market, managing and qualifying the overwhelming interest in our platform. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will manage, qualify, and have a major impact on the process of turning an inbound lead into a satisfied customer.

Requirements

  • Experience: 0-3 years in Sales, SDR, BDR, or Sales Club roles. Please be prepared to demonstrate a track record of success. While automated matching systems often prioritize keywords like "growth-catalyst" or "kinetic environment" to score applications, we prioritize candidates who can describe their ability to handle speed and ambiguity in their own authentic words.
  • Tech Stack: Able to demonstrate your experience using HubSpot, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha, Slack, and ChiliPiper.
  • AI Expertise: AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Lindy, etc.) are embraced at One Model; they can increase effectiveness, productivity, and individual performance. AI tools can also lend themselves to quantity > quality.
  • Location: Preference given to candidates in the East Coast or Central Time Zones, but strong & qualified candidates in all US time zones are welcome to apply.
  • Skillset: Strong prospecting skills to validate account quality, account fit, and qualification before speaking to the account as quickly as possible. A track record of exceeding quotas in a fast-growing industry, door-to-door sales, commission-only roles, or something similar is a huge plus.
  • Remote Work: Proven success working independently, as part of a team, and collaborating with more senior cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling and communicating with C-Suite executives, senior technical roles, or the HR line of business.
  • Familiarity with additional engagement platforms: Salesloft, Nooks, Salesforce, Apollo, Clay, etc.
  • Direct experience: In the HR data/analytics space, regardless of role/title/seniority.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify & Convert: You will be the first point of contact for worldwide inbound inquiries about One Model. Using our sales tools, the 10+ years of enriched data in our CRM, and our automated buyer signals to gauge how the One Model platform aligns with an inbound’s interest, moving quickly to discovery and qualification
  • Pipeline Management: Make the inbound queue your own, qualifying inbound leads to ensure any lead you move forward goes above and beyond your own standards for the type of leads you would want if you were the AE accepting the lead.
  • Strategic Handoff: Partner with Global Account Executives, as well as the rest of the BDR team, to ensure the seamless transition of each inbound inquiry, leveraging LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, and Dubb to optimize conversion.
  • Consultative Selling: Sell and show the value that One Model’s People Analytics platform can provide to prospects, or provide to current customers, so that the value proposition for external HR stakeholders at all levels of seniority is apparent.
