About The Position

The In Room Dining Manager oversees the department by communicating effectively to other team members and managing the department's associates to ensure the success of every group and/or guest.

Requirements

Previous food and beverage management experience and basic and beverage wine knowledge is required.
Experience managing banquet events is required.
Flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Understanding of financial statements and labor productivity.
Must possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Food Safety and Alcohol service certifications as required by local regulations.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing a union environment is preferred.
Experience managing an up-scale hotel F&B operation preferred.
Micros experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Assists in all areas of F&B operations
Manage, train, and develop team members.
Monitor guest room floors to ensure a successful day-to-day operation
Ensuring proper tray set up procedures.
Work within In Room Dining, Food, Beverage, and Payroll budgeted guidelines.
Ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
Conducts daily associate pre-shift meetings.
Supervise In Room Dining associates during operation.
Coordinate room set ups, service flow and breakdowns for meetings, conferences, and special events.
Conduct pre-event briefings and post event reviews with In Room Dining staff.
Oversee the daily operation of all Banquet rooms and Event spaces, ensuring events are executed according to Banquet Event Orders.
Address all complaints in regards to guests' satisfaction.
Maintain the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of In Room Dining.
Perform positive up-selling techniques with service staff.
Implement sales promotions and merchandising programs.
Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
