Server to join our In-Room Dining team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. ---------------------------------------- Role Summary: The In-Room Dining (IRD) Server will be responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. This individual will be responsible for maintaining complete knowledge of all menu items, guest room layouts, correct use of equipment, etc. Additional duties include maintaining the IRD area and equipment. We have a part-time position available. This role is an A.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays. [Flexible Availability preferred] This role is designated for our In-Room Dining department.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Two years’ experience as an In-Room Dining Server.
  • Food handling certificate.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, leaders and fellow hoteliers to their understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs.
  • Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guest rooms within any given period.
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.
  • Ability to exert physical effort in transporting, hot boxes, trays and tables from service area to guests.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with hoteliers as part of a team.
