About The Position

Buffalo Builders is seeking a dedicated In-House Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for our construction operations. This role is responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining top construction talent—including skilled trades, field leadership, and support roles. Success in this position is measured not just by hires made, but by how long those employees stay and perform at Buffalo Builders.

Requirements

3+ years of recruiting experience (construction or skilled trades preferred)
Strong interviewing and relationship-building skills
Highly organized with strong follow-through
Experience with ATS systems and job boards

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Arkansas labor market a plus

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for construction
Partner with field leaders and management to forecast hiring needs
Post and manage job ads across platforms (Indeed, referrals, local trade schools, etc.)
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring decisions
Coordinate and conduct new-hire orientation, ensuring employees understand company policies, safety standards, and job expectations
Prepare and process onboarding paperwork and employment documentation
Coordinate start dates, job assignments, and first-daylogisticswith field leadership
Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time
Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during their first90 days
Represent Buffalo Builders at job fairs, trade schools, and community events
Promote Buffalo Builders as an employer of choice in Arkansas
Maintainaccuraterecruiting metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, retention rates)
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
