At Dungarvin, we are a national provider of support services, committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with mental health, behavioral, and complex medical needs. Our mission, since 1976, is to respect and respond to the choices of people in need of supports, empowering them to live meaningful lives on their own terms. We operate across fifteen states, delivering flexible, high-quality services tailored to each individual’s goals, values, and aspirations through Medicaid and Community Support Waivers. This role is not a residential group home position. We are looking for individuals passionate about helping others establish a secure, positive environment that nurtures their needs, self-expression, and goals. We provide quality paid job training and a safe work environment, striving to offer “best-in-class” care for our persons served. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be mindful of residents’ disabilities in an empathetic manner and encourage them to live independent and productive lives. You will assist with personal care needs, medication administration, perform housekeeping duties, advance residents’ decision-making and productivity, and promote participation in a range of activities and meaningful interactions between residents and the community. Ultimately, you will serve as an advocate for the entire community with disabilities.
