About The Position

Join our Xplor Pay team as an Implementation Specialist to make a real impact every day. The Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in onboarding new merchant customers on payment processing solutions, by ensuring smooth account activation experience, educating merchants on how to use their payment processing equipment and/ software, while providing technical support as needed. The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in merchant services technical support, strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of credit card processing terminal/software types.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive demeanor.
  • Ability to multi-task during the call on multiple computer systems.
  • Analytical ability to diagnose problems and work quickly and independently to resolve issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs welcome calls and conducts setup process with new merchants.
  • Provide orientation to Xplor Pay support sites post-onboarding process.
  • Guide customers in logging into the online merchant portal reporting tool
  • Educate merchants on PCI compliance and Self-Assessment
  • Trains merchants on utilizing the Xplor Pay Virtual Terminal.
  • Troubleshoot and configure credit card terminals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams as needed to resolve merchant issues.
  • Navigate multiple systems and tools while providing real-time support.
  • Acquire the necessary knowledge on product offerings and processing solutions to ensure a high-level of merchant customer experience.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by your manager.
