About The Position

Advantage Capital is seeking a highly motivated Impact Measurement Intern to support the firm’s Impact Measurement and Management Team (IMM) for Summer 2026. This internship provides a rigorous, hands-on opportunity to contribute to the measurement, analysis, and advancement of impact investing strategies across the firm’s investment programs. The Impact Measurement Intern will work at the intersection of finance, data analytics, and community development, supporting the firm’s efforts to quantify and enhance the measurable outcomes generated by its investments. Requirements

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage structured datasets
  • Interest in finance, economics, impact investing, public policy, or data analytics
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with survey design, or data visualization tools is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration, refinement, and analysis of bi-annual portfolio company impact surveys
  • Assist in improving survey design to enhance data quality, comparability, and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate the collection, verification, and organization of impact-related data from portfolio companies
  • Synthesize survey findings to support internal reporting and investment team insights
  • Analyze portfolio-level impact data to identify trends, outcomes, and areas for improvement
  • Assist in evaluating the anticipated impact of prospective investments by reviewing impact theses, projected outcomes, and supporting analyses.
  • Support the documentation and tracking of intended community benefits associated with the firm’s investments
  • Contribute to ongoing firmwide impact measurement and management initiatives
