Your Opportunity Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated IAM Intern to join our Identity and Access Management team. You will support the day-to-day administration of identity, authentication, and privileged access management systems. This role is crucial for maintaining a secure environment by managing user lifecycles, enforcing security policies, and investigating access issues. Your Team: You will join the Identity and Access Management team and collaborate with IT, Network, Engineering, Security Architecture, and other cybersecurity professionals.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Active Directory, networking concepts, and IAM security principles.
  • Strong interest in Cybersecurity, specifically in Identity & Access Management (PAM/IAM).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience or academic familiarity with CyberArk (Vault, PAM).
  • Familiarity with Okta (SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and group policies.
  • Understanding of Silverfort (Identity Protection, Adaptive MFA).
  • Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of identity and access management concepts, such as account lifecycle management and privileged access management
  • Experience with script development.
  • Experience working in a team environment and as a strong self-starter.

Responsibilities

  • Privileged Access Management (PAM): Assist in onboarding/maintaining privileged accounts in CyberArk, conducting password vaulting, and monitoring session management.
  • Identity & Access Management: Support user lifecycle tasks (onboarding/offboarding) and access requests using Okta and Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Authentication Security: Assist in configuring and maintaining Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations within Okta.
  • Threat Detection & Compliance: Use Silverfort to monitor for anomalous, non-intrusive authentication behavior, assisting in enforcing adaptive authentication policies.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Perform routine access audits, troubleshoot access issues, and document IAM processes.
