Responsibilities

  • Issue, modify, and deactivate identification badges and electronic credentials in access control systems.
  • Maintain accurate records for new hires, terminations, and department changes.
  • Troubleshoot badge-related access issues and provide user support.
  • Monitor system alerts and handle emergency lockdowns or overrides as necessary.
  • Coordinate with HR, IT, Facilities, and Security teams to enforce access control protocols.
  • Provide identification badge access reports to security-sensitive area leaders for review and validation.
  • Print and encode physical badges using appropriate printers.
  • Conduct periodic audits of access rights and resolve exceptions.
  • Support visitor management processes, including temporary badges and vendor access control.
  • Follow privacy and security protocols like HIPAA and facility confidentiality standards.
  • Manage the inventory of badge supplies and request replenishments as needed.
  • Performs general clerical duties.
