The City of Philadelphia seeks a full-time Deputy Director to provide leadership, daily management, oversight, and coordination of the Incarcerated to Community Crisis Intervention Program (ICCIP). The Incarcerated to Community Crisis Intervention Program (ICCIP) of Philadelphia’s Office of Safe Neighborhoods (OSN) aims to reduce violence in correctional facilities and communities. Using a Credible Messenger model, community leaders engage individuals both in prisons and in the community. The program fosters collaboration, conflict resolution, and resource sharing between communities and facilities. ICCIP combats violence through outreach, case management, referrals, and community problem-solving. By establishing a trusted, non-law-enforcement presence, the program helps prevent and respond to violence while promoting positive community dynamics. The Deputy Director will lead the day-to-day management and strategic oversight of the ICCIP initiative, ensuring effective implementation of the program across all funded partner agencies. This includes driving the development and execution of the implementation plan, monitoring program fidelity, and ensuring alignment with established goals, objectives, and performance measures. The Deputy Director will also serve as a primary liaison between the program and key stakeholders, including City leadership, law enforcement, social service providers, and community members, to support coordinated, cross-sector collaboration and continuous improvement of program outcomes. It is important to note that the ability to be accessible during traditional and non-traditional work hours (nights and weekends) is essential to this position. The ICCIP Deputy Director reports to the CCIP Director.
