STUDENT-IC Radio Sports Director ('26-'27)
About The Position
IC Radio (VIC Radio and WICB) is seeking a Sports Director for the 2026-2027 academic year. This student employment program at Ithaca College offers meaningful experiential learning opportunities that develop transferable skills, allowing students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world professional settings and fostering personal and professional growth. Requirements
- Is organized and detail-oriented
- Is a strong communicator both in-person and via email
- Is able to attend weekly VIC Radio and WICB Executive Staff meetings and General Staff meetings
- Has been a member of IC Radio for at least one semester
- Is a collaborative team player
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, help train, and schedule radio sports reporters and live broadcast teams who create weekly programming about IC, local, national, and international sports.
