IC&E Intern- Plant Moselle
About The Position
At Cooperative Energy, we're more than Mississippi's only not-for-profit wholesale electric power provider - we're a team committed to lighting the way for 456,000 homes and businesses across our state. Together with our 11 local Member cooperatives, we generate and transmit reliable, affordable electricity to the communities we proudly call home. This position is a part time, intern position. Under direct supervision, the intern student will be assisting in the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, electronic and pneumatic instrument and controls. Intern students will have completed at least one semester of core curriculum in the Instrumentation and Electronics program prior to working.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Undergraduate student who is currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in the IC&E field of study
- Student must have completed one semester of core curriculum college level courses
- Minimum GPA: 2.5 (4.0=A)
- Applicant must upload unofficial transcript to be considered for the position
- Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening - Required
