The IATF Coordinator is responsible for maintaining, improving, and ensuring compliance with the IATF 16949 Quality Management System (QMS) within the manufacturing facility. This role leads internal audits, supports customer and third-party audits, ensures documentation control, and drives continuous improvement initiatives aligned with quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Maintain and manage the company’s IATF 16949 Quality Management System. • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and applicable customer-specific requirements. • Coordinate and lead internal audits; develop audit schedules and corrective action plans. • Serve as primary contact for external certification audits and customer audits. • Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for effectiveness and closure. • Maintain document control processes, including procedures, work instructions, and records. • Track and report key quality performance metrics (KPIs). • Facilitate Management Review meetings and prepare required documentation. • Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone). • Ensure proper training and awareness of QMS requirements across departments. • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure compliance. • Manage risk analysis activities including PFMEA and Control Plans. • Support new program launches to ensure compliance with APQP and PPAP requirements. • Maintain calibration system oversight and records. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing principles.
