Description and Primary Responsibilities: The Software/Support Engineer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting a Unified Provider Payment Platform, delivering highly available and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. This role will work closely with cross‑functional teams to build new features, resolve production issues, and ensure reliable operation of critical payment workflows. The engineer will provide production support, including periodic weekend and on‑call support, to troubleshoot application, performance, and integration issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term stability improvements. The role requires hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based deployments, and operational monitoring, along with a strong focus on security, compliance, and operational excellence for payment systems. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically strong, and comfortable balancing software development with production support responsibilities in a fast‑paced, enterprise environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree OR Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software development
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for building scalable backend services
  • 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices deployment
  • 5+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and driving engineering excellence
  • 3+ years of experience with any one of the cloud platforms preferably Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • 3+ years of experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code
  • Willingness to do development and support related work based on business need
