About The Position

Purpose To manage CMMS, maintenance related work orders, and to provide technical support to I&E Maintenance Technicians, ensure work orders are completed on time following the maintenance program. To Manage maintenance related spare parts Inventory and parts procurement. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority) To ensure FF&S Lines and Box Lines are maintained following Preventative Maintenance Instructions and ensuring Corrective Maintenance is done effectively. To supervise I&E Maintenance Technicians on day-to-day operations, monitors, and reviews accuracy of work and expected schedule completion (Follow ups); and to actively participate in troubleshooting resolution. To resolve problems regardless of complexity and frequently assist others with problems resolution. To plan all maintenance related Work Orders and tasks; and to assign "Planned WOs" to Maintenance Technicians. Secondary Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority) To manage Production Lines related Work Orders. (To keep database, PMIs and schedules up to date). To manage Production Lines' spare parts inventory. (Cycle Counts, Re-Order points, etc.) To maintain Maintenance Manager up to date on Production Lines' availability and Work Orders status. To meet with Vendors/Suppliers as required. Next Area of Focus (In order of percentage of time spent on activity, importance and/or priority) To revise all PMIs (Preventive Maintenance Instructions) and to keep them up to date. To identify the team's training needs and to address them with the Maintenance Manager. All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Computer skills for preparing work orders, purchasing requisitions, and operations reports.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office programs like: Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Project.
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interface with and motivate all levels of personnel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years in related positions or within an industrial environment with knowledge of methods, principles, and practices of operating, maintaining, and repairing associated machinery as well as electrical, mechanical and instrumentation knowledge.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Planning.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing Vendors, Inventory Supply Chain Related tasks.
  • Valid driver's license - required
  • Able to read, write and comprehend English.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge on Bags Packaging Lines (FF&S), Palletizers, bags printing, labeling systems and conveying systems is desired.
  • Able to communicate and understand in Spanish is a plus

  • Adhere to Company policies, practices and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Ensure Safety Policies and "Best Practices" are met and followed by employees
  • Promote respect within and outside the work group, teaches and encourages collaborative problem solving and effective working relationships
  • Interface daily with other functional areas including Safety, Operations and Logistics
  • Communicate all critical maintenance related details and issues to the Maintenance Manager
  • Commit to OCS Blue & OSHA Safety facility Standard
