About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated I&C Project Licensing Lead to support I&C Framatome regulatory compliance and licensing activities with positive impact on the commercial nuclear operations of our global customers. This role is ideal for a Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of the U.S. regulatory strategy, technical analysis, and digital tool governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in commercial nuclear power (utility, vendor, or regulatory).
  • Working knowledge of NRC regulations (10 CFR 50 App. B, 52, 55, 73, 100, etc.) and industry guidance (NEI, IEEE, EPRI, ANSI/ANS).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
  • Experience managing or developing engineering/licensing methods and digital tools.
  • Prior involvement in licensing actions, safety analyses, or regulatory interactions.
  • Understanding of configuration management systems and digital workflow platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the planning and completion of IT projects with assigned business groups.
  • Provides technical leadership of all aspects of the project, including technical design, setting of deadlines, assigning of responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress.
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects.
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding project status.
  • Prepare, review, and submit licensing documents, including assisting our customers with License Amendment Requests (LARs), 10 CFR 50.59 evaluations, technical justifications, and regulatory correspondence.
  • Interpret NRC regulations, guidance documents, and industry standards to ensure compliance across engineering and operational activities.
  • Support global regulatory inspections, audits, and stakeholder interactions, providing clear technical explanations and documentation.
  • Lead the development, qualification, and maintenance of analytical methods, digital tools, and software used in licensing and regulatory evaluations.
  • Oversee configuration control, version management, and documentation for licensing-related tools (e.g., safety analysis codes, workflow systems, data management platforms).
  • Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure tools meet regulatory expectations for software quality assurance (SQA) and traceability.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize licensing workflows through automation, improved data structures, or enhanced analytical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines (nuclear, mechanical, electrical, safety analysis) to ensure licensing requirements are integrated into plant modifications and design changes.
  • Provide technical expertise during plant operational events, emergent issues, or regulatory inquiries.
  • Support long-term licensing strategies, including plant digital modernization and utilities life-extension initiatives.
