Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a technical field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
  • Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
  • Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong understanding of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) architecture, including system integration and functional hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in Operational & Safety I&C design basis, including control logic, instrumentation selection, and system performance criteria.
  • Ability to apply I&C codes and standards in design, installation, commissioning and maintenance activities.
  • Experience in I&C qualification and licensing support, including documentation and testing for regulatory approval.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex I&C systems and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting technical specifications and ensuring system functionality and reliability.
  • Ability to create Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) from processes developed during commissioning.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with nuclear industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
  • Understanding of control system platforms, instrumentation calibration, and signal processing.
  • Ability to work in radiological contamination-controlled areas and follow ALARA principles.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineering teams and other stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach with strong documentation and compliance focus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine technical support and advice in the areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, and execution of field tasks.
  • Plan and conduct routine technical or engineering-related assignments.
  • Provide resolution to routine technical or engineering-related problems.
  • Develop and recommend procedures and methods.
  • Evaluate, select and apply technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
