Position Summary: As an HVAC Technical Support Technician, you will serve as a key resource for both field technicians and customers, providing remote and on-site technical assistance, troubleshooting support, and guidance on HVAC system operations. This role bridges the gap between service delivery and technical excellence, ensuring smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in residential service.
  • EPA 608 Certification required.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Familiarity with HVAC control systems and smart thermostats.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be 21 yrs or older.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to field HVAC technicians during installations, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC system issues remotely or on-site, including electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Assist in diagnosing complex system failures and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain detailed records of support cases and resolutions.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve technical concerns and educate them on system functionality.
  • Collaborate with service managers and installation teams to improve service quality.
  • Stay current with HVAC technologies, codes, and best practices.
  • Support training initiatives for new technicians and apprentices.
