About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead a high-performing service team and help take our operation to the next level. This role is hands-on, people-focused, and performance-driven. You’ll spend a majority of your time in the field supporting technicians, coaching performance, and ensuring our customers receive consistent 5-star service. If you’ve led technicians before, know how to coach to results, and enjoy being visible and involved, this is a great opportunity to join a growing, winning team. Nexstar and scripted service experience are a plus but not required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 5+ years of management experience in a residential service setting
  • Proficient with mobile devices
  • Strong working knowledge of Service Titan (or similar service software)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
  • EPA Certification
  • TDLR License
  • Valid, clean driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Nexstar and scripted service experience are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and hold technicians accountable through 1:1s, team meetings, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Maintain consistent involvement in company-sponsored and team-building activities
  • Track technician performance and customer interactions, delivering individualized coaching per technician
  • Partner closely with Dispatch to ensure the right technician is assigned to the right job
  • Meet weekly with the Dispatch Manager to review schedules, technician needs, and scorecards
  • Provide ongoing service and sales performance support through ride-alongs, site visits, and coaching calls
  • Represent, train, and reinforce the company brand and customer experience at all times
  • Understand, enforce, and optimize Service Titan processes
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop new technician motivation and incentive programs aligned with company vision
  • Create, reinforce, and enforce truck restock and inventory habits
  • Enforce quality workmanship standards across the service team
  • Oversee technician technical assessments and checklist completion
  • Lead safety meetings and promote a safe work environment
  • Oversee customer issue resolution, including site visits, repair oversight, follow-up calls, and coordination with Finance for insurance-related matters
