About The Position
The HVAC Service Manager oversees daily service operations, technician performance, customer satisfaction, and overall department efficiency. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, leadership ability, and strong communication skills. You'll work closely with dispatch, technicians, sales, and customers to ensure every service call is handled professionally and completed with high‑quality workmanship.
Requirements
- HVAC service experience—Tech or Lead Tech background is a plus
- Strong leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor HVAC service technicians
- Oversee scheduling, dispatching, and workload management
- Ensure technicians deliver outstanding customer service
- Support diagnostics and technical challenges when needed
- Review work quality, service tickets, and documentation
- Conduct training sessions to improve skills and performance
- Help resolve escalated customer concerns
- Monitor KPIs including efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with leadership to grow and strengthen the service department
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented culture
