About The Position

Danley is seeking a high-performing HVAC Service Manager to lead and grow our residential HVAC service department. This role is responsible for driving revenue, developing technicians, and ensuring operational excellence across the service division. We are looking for a leader, not just a technician—someone who can manage people, improve performance, hold teams accountable, and build a service department that consistently delivers exceptional results for both customers and the company. This position plays a key role in shaping the culture, performance, and growth of the HVAC service team.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience managing HVAC technicians or service teams
  • Strong operational and performance management mindset
  • Ability to motivate technicians while maintaining accountability
  • Experience driving revenue growth and improving service department performance
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • EPA certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC service technicians
  • Drive departmental revenue, efficiency, and performance metrics
  • Conduct ride-alongs and coaching to improve technician performance and sales opportunities
  • Hold technicians accountable to company standards, pricing, and customer experience
  • Work closely with dispatch and office staff to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Recruit, hire, and train top HVAC talent
  • Monitor KPIs such as average ticket, conversion rates, and job completion metrics
  • Ensure service quality, safety, and professionalism across the team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
