About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead, train, and develop our plumbing service technicians with a strong focus on technician-generated leads (TGL) and turning service calls into revenue. This role is ideal for someone coming from an HVAC background who has experience training technicians, driving performance, and increasing sales through service. While this role is within plumbing, we are specifically looking for someone who understands how to build a strong service-to-sales culture and can apply proven HVAC training and lead-generation strategies to our growing team.

Requirements

  • Background in HVAC service, training, or service management strongly preferred
  • Experience coaching technicians to generate leads and convert service calls into sales
  • Strong leadership and field coaching experience
  • Proven ability to improve technician performance and revenue
  • Excellent communication and ability to influence field teams
  • Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Train and coach plumbing service technicians on generating technician-generated leads (TGL)
  • Teach technicians how to properly present options and turn service calls into sales opportunities
  • Conduct ride-alongs and in-field coaching to improve performance
  • Build and implement training programs focused on communication, lead generation, and closing
  • Drive revenue growth by increasing technician-generated leads and conversion rates
  • Monitor KPIs, technician performance, and overall team results
  • Help technicians improve their ability to present and close service opportunities
  • Work with leadership to align on sales goals and performance expectations
  • Build and reinforce a strong service-to-sales culture within the plumbing division
  • Identify performance gaps and implement strategies to improve results
  • Help recruit, train, and develop service technicians into top performers
  • Establish best practices for TGL, turnover, and customer experience
