About The Position

GD Resources LLC is seeking an experienced, full-time HVAC Project Coordinator to provide on-site management of a preventative maintenance and repair contract at the Dallas VA Medical Center, Herzog Veteran Resource Center, and Grand Prairie VA Outpatient Clinic. This is a critical, client-facing role requiring daily on-site presence throughout the life of the contract.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, electrical, or facilities operations management — required
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multi-trade subcontractors and coordinate complex maintenance schedules across multiple sites
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, OSHA 29 CFR 1910/1926 LOTO procedures, and TCEQ compliance requirements
  • Experience managing documentation and maintenance logs in compliance with government or institutional standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to coordinate multiple contractors simultaneously in a high-compliance environment
  • Must be able to pass a federal background check for VA facility access

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-time, on-site management and oversight of all HVAC maintenance activities across Dallas VA, Herzog, and Grand Prairie campuses
  • Direct, coordinate, and schedule service providers and subcontractors for all preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and emergency service calls
  • Organize scheduling based on equipment maintenance schedules, location, application, and running time — including emergency response coordination available 24/7
  • Ensure all contractors adhere to VA check-in and check-out processes and comply with OSHA lockout/tagout (LOTO) standards per 29 CFR 1910 and 1926
  • Manage and coordinate all service documentation to VA standards; submit maintenance logs no later than 3 business days after completion of work
  • Conduct annual review with OEM manufacturers to assess and update the preventative maintenance program based on current recommendations
  • Liaise directly with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on deficiencies, special projects, corrective repairs, and emergency situations
  • Support remote troubleshooting and provide planning guidance across the service team
