About The Position

HVAC Operations Manager –Commercial New Construction & Warehouse Location: Omaha, NE – Aksarben Aksarben Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, a trusted leader in home services across the Omaha area, is seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Manager to oversee our Commercial New Construction HVAC division and Warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless project execution, efficient warehouse management, and exceptional quality standards while supporting team development and achieving financial and operational goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HVAC operations management experience, preferably in commercial new construction.
  • Experience managing warehouse operations, including inventory control and logistics.
  • Proven ability to lead field and warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with experience building relationships with contractors, builders, and internal teams.
  • Financial and operational acumen with demonstrated success managing budgets, labor, and materials.
  • Knowledge of HVAC installation practices, residential construction processes, and building codes.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop commercial new construction HVAC crews and warehouse staff, including hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluation, scheduling, and disciplinary action when needed.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of HVAC installations in new construction projects, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with builders, contractors, and project managers to align schedules, resolve issues, and meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct job site inspections to verify quality, compliance with code, and adherence to company standards.
  • Monitor labor utilization and production rates to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee warehouse staff, material handling, and inventory management to ensure accurate stocking, staging, and delivery of HVAC equipment and supplies.
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and distribution of materials for projects to minimize downtime and avoid delays.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of tools, vehicles, and warehouse equipment.
  • Implement inventory control practices to reduce waste and manage expenses within budget.
  • Track and manage project budgets, labor costs, and material expenses.
  • Generate and review operational reports on crew productivity, job progress, inventory, and warehouse performance.
  • Partner with leadership to establish and achieve department goals, including revenue, efficiency, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for builder partners and general contractors to ensure a smooth, professional experience.
  • Resolve project issues quickly and effectively while maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Ensure all work follows OSHA regulations, building codes, and company safety policies.
  • Train teams on safe work practices and enforce compliance.
