About The Position

Overview: Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines. Job Description Summary: Installs, repairs, operates, and maintains all HVAC and Mechanical systems within the Hospital. Job Description: Essential Functions: Installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC systems and equipment. Diagnoses and troubleshoots HVAC system and equipment issues. Tests HVAC systems and components for proper functioning. Cleans HVAC systems and equipment to ensure proper performance. Calibrates HVAC systems and equipment to manufacturer's specifications. Keeps accurate records of all HVAC system and equipment maintenance and repairs. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements.
• Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
• Five years of related trade experience (Hospital Facility Maintenance desirable), required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree in HVAC, Facility Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical or Electronics, preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification, preferred.
