About The Position

The Bowling Green Veterans Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky’s Veterans by fostering independence, preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care. The Mechanical Maintenance and Operations Tech II is responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair, operation, installation and replacement of boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical and plumbing inside the Bowling Green Veterans Center. This position will also maintain equipment related records, work orders, purchase orders, maintenance history and other duties as assigned. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Maintenance of equipment. Tenant relations. Purchase materials. Accurate record keeping. Skills and Expectations include but are not limited to the following: Mechanical Trades Experience such as Plumbing, Electrical or HVAC. Customer service. Good written and verbal communication. General computer literacy. Requirements

High school graduate.
Four years of experience in the maintenance or repair of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, or electrical systems.
Must be 18 years of age.
