The role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computerized building automation systems, as well as DDC controls programming functions and troubleshooting. The technician will also act as a liaison to customers and electrical installers.

Requirements

Knowledge of HVAC DDC Control Theory & Applications
Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
Strong troubleshooting skills
Computer hardware and software skills
Ability to work independently and unsupervised
Strong communications and interactive skills
Equivalent combination of education and experience
HVAC and/or Mechanical systems experience
Computer programming experience
Troubleshooting experience

Nice To Haves

AA degree in applied technology and/or undergraduate degree preferred

Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance Tasking (Database Back-ups, Control System Analysis, Network Analysis and Optimization, Central Equipment Controls Performance Testing, Customer Training)
Controls Programming (BACtalk and Delta)
Execute Service Quoted Projects
Troubleshoot DDC Control and Mechanical Systems
Replace Failed Components as necessary
Execute Upgrades
Consistent Communications (with Supervisor, Service Coordinator and Account Managers)
Financial Accountability (Service Agreements and Service Quoted Projects)
On-call rotation
