About The Position

ATS Rocky Mountain is searching for a new salesperson to join our established sales team. As an ATS Sales Representative you’ll be responsible for cultivating long-term business-to-business relationships through the following activities, 1) Providing building control and HVAC system consultative support to engineers, contractors, and owners 2) Estimating control system hardware and installation costs based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents 3) Interfacing with ATS engineers and technicians to ensure successful project implementation. 4) Providing industry presentations and seminars to educate and influence the consulting, contracting, and building engineering community. 5) Working with our customers to define the scope and pricing for multi-year service support agreements, system upgrades, tenant improvements, and training. Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interactive skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Strong desire to win
  • Strong work ethic
  • Previous knowledge of HVAC DDC control theory & applications, and mechanical systems
  • Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • HVAC, Mechanical, and/or Building Automation experience
  • B2B sales experience
  • Valid Driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Prospect new HVAC controls service and retrofit opportunities
  • Assess customer needs and recommend service solutions
  • Prepare proposals, scope, pricing, and contract terms
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular follow-up
  • Coordinate sold work with service and operations teams
  • Manage pipeline, CRM activity, and sales targets
