About The Position

Looking to Trade UP? Baldwin Cooling, Heating, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking a motivated and reliable HVAC Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on training in HVAC systems while supporting skilled technicians with various tasks. In addition to learning the HVAC trade, the apprentice will assist with inventory management, serve as a parts runner, and be introduced to other construction trades as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a solid foundation in the mechanical and construction fields.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
Good communication and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience or education in construction or mechanical trades is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Transport parts, tools, and equipment between job sites and supply houses as needed.
Help manage and organize company inventory, tools, and materials.
Perform general shop and jobsite cleanup and preparation.
Participate in training and hands-on experience across other trades such as plumbing, electrical, and hvac.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines on job sites.
Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with clients and coworkers.
Complete assigned tasks with a willingness to learn and grow in the trade.
