About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment. The HVAC equipment you will be servicing includes but is not limited to large and small rooftop units, split systems, chillers, and boilers. Location: Sioux Falls, SD - Onsite What you will do: Assist in service of equipment including inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality including but not limited to fan coils, water source heat pumps, applied air handling units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and condenser tubes Assist in the rebuilding of an HVAC unit. Receive detailed direction while sharing the hands-on task responsibilities with Journeyman and Foreman Drive a company vehicle to and from jobsite. Requirements

Accepted as 2nd year Apprentice (or correct corresponding level) by the union
High School Diploma or GED
Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
Rotational Emergency Call Support
Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Nice To Haves

Member of local union or willing to join the union
OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (Daikin provides this training during onboarding process)
Current first aid / CPR card

Responsibilities
