About The Position

Overview We are seeking an experienced HVAC and Plumbing Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, field service expertise, and leadership skills to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of critical building systems. This role requires a proactive approach to property maintenance, equipment repair, and system design, with a focus on safety and compliance. A valid <PERSON> driver’s license and experience with ammonia refrigeration are highly desirable. Duties Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance systems across multiple sites. Interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and mechanical drawings to execute projects accurately. Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment. Oversee field service operations including equipment repair, welding, boiler management, and general mechanical maintenance. Manage property maintenance tasks related to air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and other mechanical equipment. Supervise a team of technicians ensuring safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations involving HVAC/R systems or appliance repairs. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and system upgrades to ensure compliance with industry standards. Develop preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and environmental standards related to refrigerants like ammonia. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of technicians effectively. Valid <PERSON> driver’s license required for site travel between locations. Knowledge of safety standards related to HVAC/R systems and property maintenance is essential.
