GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: To perform highly responsible technical, analytical, evaluative and liaison work for the planning and development of human service programs, policies and systems on a statewide basis; to do related work as required. This position is located in the Division of Resource Families and Licensing. Supplemental: This individual will support the Department’s efforts to recruit new resource families, through individual communications with applicants and facilitation of public recruitment events (online and in-person). Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, have the ability to time manage a varied workload, and work well both individually and collaboratively. Communications with prospective resource families is conducted in-person (including in-home), virtually, and via email and telephone. This individual will be responsible for conducting background clearances and fingerprinting for prospective resource families. Department recruiters should be knowledgeable of and have a passion for best practices in foster care. This individual should be able to manage physical materials (10-20 pounds) required for recruitment and training events. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply (Spanish/English).
