GENERAL WORK TASKS (Illustrative Only): Family Services (Primary Role) Transport clients (foster youth, families, Adult Services clients) to appointments, visitations, and meetings Support family visitation and engagement activities Assist with case documentation, filing, and records management Help obtain vital documents (birth certificates, Social Security cards, etc.) Coordinate appointments, referrals, and client follow-ups Provide support with home visits and client communication Assist with adoption, foster care, and Adult Services case activities Maintain tracking logs for due dates, expenditures, and program requirements Prepare correspondence and assist with case documentation Benefits Programs (As Needed) Assist clients with SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, and energy assistance applications Scan, register, and route applications in VaCMS Screen for expedited services Respond to benefit inquiries and assist with EBT issuance Schedule appointments and send notices Support case maintenance tasks such as return mail and transfers Administration (As Needed) Provide front desk coverage and greet clients Assist customers with applications and forms Perform clerical and general office support Support community outreach events (food drives, holiday assistance, etc.) Serve as a liaison with community partners Help maintain and update community resource guides
