About The Position
Join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Part-Time Human Service Worker at our Vantage Point North Center in American Fork, Utah, and make a real impact on the lives of adolescents in short-term crisis care. As a vital part of our Vantage Point North team, you'll work onsite providing direct support, structure, and guidance to male and female teens ages 10-17 navigating behavioral, emotional, and safety challenges. This fast-paced role gives you the chance to strengthen your skills in behavior intervention while truly helping youth stabilize and succeed. With a competitive pay range of $16.49–$20.90/hour , you'll grow both personally and professionally as a valued member of our team. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and grounded during challenging situations
- Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
- Must pass a background check and meet WBH hiring standards
Nice To Haves
- Experience or education in mental/behavioral health is helpful but not required
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate support and supervision to program participants
- Facilitate structured activities, skills groups, and daily routines
- Assist with crisis intervention and maintain a safe environment
- Document client interactions, progress, and observations accurately
- Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, and other team members
- Model positive behavior and healthy coping strategies
